Old Wisdom for New (Year’s) Resolutions
The point is not to dissuade us from setting achievement goals. They’re valuable in a particular way. But they lack a compelling vision of what people are for. Are we meant simply to become more productive and efficient? Is optimization the purpose of man? The Bible says no. Scripture offers a better way.
